Bishop Dr. James O. Cunningham and Lady Doris Cunningham are the beloved founders of Word of Life Temple, Inc., a thriving ministry built on faith, integrity, and the unshakable Word of God. With over four decades of servant leadership, they have been unwavering in their commitment to advancing the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth by reaching, restoring, and rebuilding lives through the power of Jesus Christ.
Bishop Cunningham is a seasoned preacher, visionary leader, and spiritual father to many. Known for his biblical wisdom, prophetic insight, and pastoral heart, he has mentored generations of leaders and led Word of Life Temple with excellence, humility, and authority. His academic accomplishments include a Doctorate of Divinity, but his greatest joy is seeing souls saved, lives changed, and communities transformed through the Gospel.
Lady Doris Cunningham stands beside him as a gracious, prayerful, and compassionate First Lady. With a heart for hospitality and women’s ministry, she has been the quiet strength and steady encourager of the WOLT family. Her wisdom, warmth, and unwavering faith have inspired countless women and families throughout the years.
Together, Bishop and Lady Cunningham have cultivated a legacy rooted in love, service, and spiritual growth. Though now serving as Pastor Emeritus and First Lady Emeritus, their impact continues to shape the identity and future of Word of Life Temple.

Bishop Tripp is a passionate preacher, teacher, and shepherd who walks in bold faith and uncompromising truth. Known for his anointed preaching, pastoral care, and strong leadership, he is deeply committed to equipping believers for Kingdom living. Under his guidance, Word of Life Temple continues to grow spiritually, numerically, and in its impact within the community.
Lady Janet Tripp is a gracious and elegant woman of God whose warmth and wisdom bless everyone she encounters.
